Apocrinoceratidae
Is a family of Middle Ordovician nautiloid cephalopods.
They are straight or slightly curved, transversely ribbed shells.
They have siphuncles (single tissues running laterally through the shell), made up into segments of short re-curved chambered necks, and thick connecting rings.
