[ENG] Unexplained gifts on Steemit / [ESP] Regalos inexplicados en Steemit

Steemit is definitely a journey. I am just not sure what kind of journey it is yet. Well, I guess that is what we are here to find out.

My joined date is October 2017; that is roughly 8 months ago. I have definitely not been as active as I could be, but I am gradually improving. During these 8 months, I have had 2 occurrences that have sparked my curiosity. Needless to say, it is a real struggle to gain followers and regular upvotes up in here. Here are two occurrences that maybe some of you can explain to me.

1. 100 upvotes under a minute.

Some time ago, I published this article:

I felt proud of it because I had honestly spent a reasonable amount of time putting it together. By the time I had finished, it was 1 AM in the morning. I went to bed but I woke up to quite a surprise. Overnight my post had 100+ upvotes. This was a shocker to me as my average upvote count was around 6 upvotes. All of a sudden, I had this huge amount. The most reasonable explanation I ever made is that due to the posting time, the post appeared at a high acitivty time somewhere in Asia. I am going to try to post again around 1 AM to see if I get a similar response. Just a Steemit curiosity.

2. 90 new followers in one day.

Again, I received a very nice surprise yesterday. I had just posted this article:

Somehow over the next 10 hours, my followers count spiked from 207 to 298. Again, I was very surprised. How is it that I suddenly got these followers? What did I do right? and how do I keep that going. Don't get me wrong, I am very thankful. #gratefulvibes. My account grew 47% overnight. Just another kidn surprise from Steemit. I have been struggling, but little boosts like this surely increase anyone's morale.

Steemit es definitivamente un viaje. Simplemente no estoy seguro de qué tipo de viaje es todavía. Bueno, supongo que eso es lo que estamos aquí para descubrir.

Me sentí orgulloso de ello porque honestamente había dedicado una cantidad razonable de tiempo a armarlo. Cuando terminé, eran las 1 AM de la mañana. Me fui a la cama pero me desperté con bastante sorpresa. De la noche a la mañana mi publicación tuvo más de 100 votos positivos.* Esto fue impactante para mí ya que mi recuento promedio de votaciones fue alrededor de 6 votos positivos. De repente, tuve esta gran cantidad. La explicación más razonable que he hecho es que debido al tiempo de publicación, la publicación apareció en un momento de gran actividad en algún lugar de Asia. Mi cuenta creció un 47% durante la noche. Solo otra sorpresa de Steemit. He estado luchando, pero pequeños impulsos como este sin duda aumentarán la moral de cualquier persona.
