Cervantes Magazine Number 24: Sainetes Cervantinos

in cervantes •  7 years ago

On this week’s summary of the sainetes section we will talk about childhood, one of the best stages of our life, full of innocence, of asking ourselves things like: Why is the sky blue? Or, when I grow up, will I be an archaeologist or an astronaut? Our worries were simple, things like an Oreo without cream, missing an episode of our favorite animated series, or getting a repeated card for our collection. Many remember it as that time where we spent time daydreaming, with a lot of imagination and creating adventures every time we grabbed our toys.

In the Discord chat, some Steemians talked about their childhood:

Our dear friend @abelardo remembers his childhood full of stories from his grandparents:

“The moments with my grandparents, what they told me and keep telling me. That’s what matters. And my childhood moments with my father before he passed away, moments I kept in my memory and in a small album.”

@alarcon22.arte describes his childhood very fondly:

“Happiness. I had no major restrictions. A childhood full of happiness.
Love. I received all the love my family could give, with its ups and downs, but always knowing that love was around.”

@Exzorltg and @luingrid.guerra tell us about their childhoods with simple words:

“The smell of crayons. The grape ice creams and watching tv for hours and hours.”

“Happiness - Innocence - Love”

This was the funniest answer, apparently girls used to chase him, or maybe he chased them!. @johannfrare:

“Things that defined my childhood:

  1. Girls of first grade
  2. Girls of second grade
  3. Girls of third grade

Women have always been a constant in my life”

How about you?, which things you remember from your childhood?

@The01crow says goodbye and until the next time!
