Palnet.io For whales only?

in cesky •  6 years ago

Again, one social network that offers a reward for creation and pricing. But everyone will not get the reward. Only from some amount of "PalPower". I think from about 15,000 PAL your voice is 1 PAL. That means investing in PAL.

Steemit is more democratic. He also allocates fragments of Steem. But Palnet rounds. For those like me who came to social networking and not making money, palnet.io seems unnecessary.

Což znamená investovat do nákupu PAL. Steemit je demokratičtější. Přiděluje i zlomky Steemu.

I think you're not wrong and it's going to feel that way at first. There is no way from stopping people who have resources at their disposal to buy things that are for sale unless you take or nullify those resources, and that can be tough because deciding on how to do that is not a choice anyone should have the power to make.

At the same time, I think an important thing to consider is that there are a large number of ways to earn that require no resources at all (like chatting in the discord, commenting on posts, and other options), and that your initial inclusion in the claimdrop allows you to plan what you want to do with your PAL. You have the power to earn and double dip, freely given to you, and a much better overall distribution to start within. Better yet, you need to do absolutely nothing different to be able to get multiple token rewards and to open new avenues to you. You are now in the position that you could do everything exactly the same today, but end up with additional resources yourself, at a greater rate and in an additional token than you did yesterday.

Part of this is not only the ability to 'moon up', but to also see a new side of the community around you. Posts you wouldn't have otherwise, a different look at trending, hot and promoted, and a different set of tools to help you do all that. It's still all Steem... and yet, it's something more, too. It will change and grow, and the greatest wish is that you can do that with it.

I can't tell you that there is a perfect, logical way to basically tell people who have worked hard (or not) to build up crypto that they should be punished for doing well. But what I can tell you is that where you are today has the potential to put you in a better position than yesterday, and what you decide to do with it is your choice. That bit of control and that bit of opportunity matter, I think. I appreciate you writing this out~

Thank you for your opinion. We really made a mistake. I should have written about 1500 PallPower ...
I belong to a community writing under the #cesky tag. If you inform me about 30 others at the same time. Some have already joined the discussion with you.

15000 PAL gives your voice about 9 PAL :)

Still then, you need around 1500 PAL to have a reward of 1 PAL. However, PAL apparently does not support decimals although the rewards should be split 50/50 amongst the author and the curators. What happens with the odd rewards then?

at current, to the pool- very shortly, decimal precision will be deployed and then that will also help to bridge the gap.

A quick point: you can earn PAL while earning Steem, without having any PAL. Chatting in the discord, making comments just like you normally do, and other methods are all ways that are part of your social journey that will contribute to you being able to earn PAL, even if you're not thinking about it and are just doing your Steem thing~

Yes, I know that I can earn PAL while publishing on any Steem front-end (Busy in my case). Anyways, until PAL launches the decimal precision to allow the PAL minnows to earn their tokens thousandth by thousandth (almost literally) the way many people do it with Steem, it will make the impression @krakonos got - just for the whales. Gathering upvotes of people who in total possess more than let's say 1k PAL ain't no easy for a minnow. In fact, @cesky, one of our community bots, owns more than that and his upvotes are worthless when it comes to PAL value.

Děkuji Ti náčelníku, že ses mě zastal... Dozvěděli jsem se, že PAL se bude dělit. Takže ho přes palubu házet nemusíme.

Yes, I'm not really disagreeing with you more than I am offering a different view point. There are a number of ways to earn PAL that do not require voting or being voted on too, which is sort of where the difference between Steem and PAL starts being visible, and that gives minnows a chance that doesn't require deep pockets. To me, it's just as important that you all feel heard than it is "proving you wrong," if you will. Things are changing quickly, and the early weeks will fluctuate no matter what. I believe, and am committed to, more changes that make it better yet, based on what people are saying and feeling.

O.K. It's my fault. 1500 PallPower = 1 Pal.
