bug: upvote attempt stays in executing forever

in chainbb-bug •  7 years ago

I clicked the upvote button and then the white circle marker keeps circling non-stop and never completed the upvote execution. I will refresh chainbb and hope that will interupt the bug:
I tried to upvote @lunix w/ 25.38% to https://beta.chainbb.com/steemit/@ronmamita/visit-these-social-media-alternatives-and-leave-the-evil-controllers-mega-websites-in-the-dust

after the chainbb refresh I repeated the upvote and it executed okay.
Does that bug happen frequently?

I think it happens if you leave your browser open for a while, and the browser disconnects from the steem blockchain. Once you go to cast a vote, it doesn't reestablish the connection, so it just hangs there.

I've seen it happen on both posts and votes at times, and it seems to be happening more regularly along with Steem's growth.

I'll ask around with some of the other devs and see if I can come up with a solution.

Thanks for looking into this, additional info:
I had just logged and in the chainbb was not inactive for a prolonged idleness.

My efforts are to use chainbb everyday, because I like the features it has that are not available to minnows new to steemit.
Thank You for all your efforts to make this blockchain better for the end users and keep it decentralized and nurturing freedom as opposed to efforts that the central banks and thier puppet governments that wish to introduce their blockchain version and regulate all competition out of the market. I have been posting about this and because I value your @jesta blockchain experience would like your comments about this looming institutional threat.
