Tung Ping Chau is an island that located in the Tai Po District in New Territories.There are some temples that dedicated to Tin Hau and Tam Kung respectively. Many people will go to Tung Ping Chau to dive and see the cliffs. It is also a hot place for camping and barbecue and those sites are managed by Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. The village of Sha Tau and temples are listed as Grade III Historic Buildings. Tung Ping Chau is also regarded as Hong Kong Global Geopark and the Tung Ping Chau Marine Park is the fourth Marine Park in Hong Kong. As there are many tourist spots in Tung Ping Chau, it attracts many people to camping and visit their to have a look on the view such as the wave-cut platform and different types of rocks here.
The geopark area in Hong Kong is really educational and worth to pay visits. You can observe different types of rock formed millions of years ago and the interaction between the sea and the rocks onshore. Really in recommended list for travellers to Hong Kong

the Geopark of HK is really worth going, and they are out doors, can surely get expose to the nature we have in HK~
