With $900bn of planned investments ranging from ports in Pakistan and Sri Lanka to high-speed railways in east Africa to gas pipelines crossing central Asia, China’s One Belt, One Road project (Obor) is arguably the largest overseas investment drive ever launched by a single country.
China is taking a leading role in the Obor and many Asian countries have already taken part in it, will it bring opportunity to the countries along the road and encourage business in it? What will trump do to do something against China? And will president Xi bring a china solutikn to the world?
If it helps develop Western Asia and maybe parts of Pakistan, i think that's a good thing. Hopefully it sees real infrastructure development instead of just corruption.
