Do you have the patience when it is needed most?
The day to day grind that we find ourselves in is filled with so many different things, activities, and chaos, that we need to take a step back from time to time and evaluate it all. The best way to see what you are doing and if it is even beneficial to your life, is to gauge your priorities. First, you need to figure out what matters most and use your time & energy to go after that thing immediately. When you set priorities and a well thought out plan of attack, it can mean some things are left unattended to or forgotten altogether. The less important things need to fall to the back of the queue and stay there for the time being. This is where patience comes in. The hectic schedules that we are sometimes trapped in require a calm mind and a willingness to let the things happen that are already set in motion. I’m not talking about sitting back and just waiting for things to happen (that never works), I’m saying that sitting back and being patient will allow the steps that you are already taking a chance to reward you with the results and some juicy fruits for your mental and physical labors.

I agree patience is power. Psychologically it is a great defense in relationships and working through deals and contracts. Emotions are good but are messy in working out interpersonal relationships. Patience is a great weapon. As is knowing when to speak and when to be quiet. Wisdom and patience are virtues spoke of in the Bible. A wise person has them.
