steemit team i humbly requesting to give a option to the steemit users. (only on user page).
if some one post by mistaken blog posted these post will be delete.
I don't know before my request now many steemit users requested to you.
If steemit team understand need of the user's request genuine please give this option ( Edit/Delete ).

I'm not sure about deleting, but if you want to edit a post you've got to do it maybe 3 days within the time you originally posted it or the option will go away. I find that I can edit my new content, but not my old content.

The moment you post something it's placed on Steem (not Steemit, that's just one way to read Steem), which is the blockchain and backbone of Steemit.
The way a blockchain works is that once something is placed on the blockchain, it cannot be deleted. Allowing to delete something would break the chain, causing all sort of unpredictable behavior.
So no, there will never be a "Delete" button, you either think hard before posting something or you can later edit it and remove the content.
In the latter it is still possible to retrieve the original message by traversing the blockchain.
