What is Chainbb.com ?

Lets first understand what are frontend and backend before we go any further.

Front End User Interface & Backend Interface

These are things which you interact with just like http://steemit.com or http://busy.org or http://chainbb.com . As long as there is interaction between human and machine , its most commonly known as a front end interface . Even mobile apps like esteem and steepshot are front end interfaces.

For any apps to function properly it has to communicate with the blockchain (we know it as steem) which is done automatically machine to machine. When there is zero human interaction its commonly known to be the backend interface.

The main difference is how chainbb programmers choose to display the information. With chainbb you would see it exactly like how you would visit a forum. The sorting order would be based on the most recent comment followed by most recent post

Information provided by chainbb seems to be more detailed and it facilitates voting percentage for minnows who has not touched 510 Steem Power to get their voting bar. This is how the screen looks like to adjust your voting power.

It even advise you on how many votes left you have in the day if you maintain at that level of percentage of voting.

Shared Rewards Posting

There were times where you would have more then 1 person who works on a post collaboratively perhaps for a project or other initiatives. This is by far one of the feature which I've not seen yet in any of the other interfaces, which is a shared reward share.

All you have to do is CLICK NEW POST and you will see a tab which says REWARDS , then you will see the screen as below.

You would be able to add as many more beneficiaries, i tried adding in 15 and it still seems ok. What happens on payday of the post , what the post receive in rewards would be automatically be shared to the author and all beneficiaries. This would ease the burden of making more calculations and manual transfers.

There are many ways you can use this option especially if you would like to support a cause or a charity who is on steemit. You can write a post and add the named beneficiaries and you do not need to worry about anything else as everything would be automated from there one.

Summary

If you've not tried chainbb do give it a try and see if its an interface which you can get accustomed to. I do use it occasionally and it won't take long for you to get used to it.
