Please look out for people who look "out of it" and who take on a sudden, unusual interest in whales, blue whales to be specific. You'll see why if you read my post.
Blue Whale is a suicide game. Yes, a suicide game. The game ends when you commit suicide on the 50th day. It starts with signing up on an Internet platform and contacting an assigned administrator, who gives the player increasingly harder tasks as the game progresses. It starts off with stuff like waking up at a certain time or watching a horror movie. Blue Whale players may have a secret language as indicated by the incomprehensible writings of one victim as well as encouraging someone to expose themselves to media that deal with death. It escalates into self-harm, usually in the form of cutting.
So why don't players just stop? Players provide personal information to the administrator, which can be used to blackmail, threaten, or even dox the player. Players keep following through with the challenges, even if the game is fatal. The former Egyptian MP's son fell victim to this game. The buzz happened in 2017, but, apparently, it's still going on. The game is not publicly available, but this "anti-blue whale" that contains funny, lighthearted challenges can be downloaded with the link.
Other indicators that someone is involved in Blue Whale include posting pictures of whales when they're not ordinarily interested in marine life. Prospective players use the tags #f57, #curator, and #curatorfindme to find the curator (the person giving the challenges) and begin the game. Some of the Russian tags (This game is said to have originated in Russia.) include #тихийдом and #разбудименяв420.
Blue Whale inventor Philipp Budekin wanted to "cleanse this society from biological waste", which implies that Blue Whale is a "test" and those who fall for the game are "biological waste". He, a psychology student, claims that the victims "will only cause harm to society" and that "it was necessary to distinguish normal [people] from biological rubbish. An investigator, Breido, said that Budekin had no friends, that his mother had little time for him, and that he spent all of his free time online. It is no secret that those who resent society will try to change it for better or for worse. This time, it's definitely for worse.

Blue Whale is something out of a dystopian horror movie. It is not some random troll who says "kys" to elicit reactions. It is a deliberately designed way of pushing youth into suicide with a downright evil motive behind it. I had second thoughts about writing this post, but I decided it's better to speak out rather than to let more people die from this sick "game".
