The Lumberjacks win the NOJHL championship

The Hearst team won the seventh and final decisive game Wednesday night against the Thunderbirds in Sault Ste. Marie. The game ended with a score of 6-3.

It's a huge boost to win the championship, especially in our second year. It gives us a lot of visibility not only in Canada, but also across the United States , he says.

With this victory, the Lumberjacks secured a participation for the Dudley-Hewitt Cup in Cochrane from April 30 to May 4.
