Big portion of Kenya-Uganda-and-Tanzania's population are in severe danger of economically descending into poverty due to the ever decreasing catch they withdraw from Lake Victoria.
"Lake Victoria is invaluable to the many millions who depend on it for food, for employment and for recreation, and concerted efforts by the governments and local communities in all three countries is needed if matters are to be put right. " (Nancy Chege, 1995). BBC-news state that as off today (Nov, 2017) biodiversity in Lake Victoria has decreased in a 50% since the 1980's, specially fish
Amongst the reasons we have: Overfishing; increased pollution; an increase in fertilisers and pesticides leaking into the lake, has led to more algae (Water hyacinth has become a major invasive plant species in the lake ß Please see green floating flora surrounding the small fishing boats in the photo) reducing the oxygen availability of the lake for the fish.
I live in a privileged area of the world but suffer when I put myself in the position of these families (who haven't chosen to be born where they have). These families have been born in countries that have been treated very unfairly by countries in the so called first world amongst which I was born. Therefore, this is simply an attempt of mine to help those that need it and really deserve it.

If you want to eliminate hunger, everybody has to be involved.
