You should have about $500 cash stashed away in small bills that you can use for a filler between the crash time and when it goes to barter it will be useful for about 2 weeks from what they say. Cash will still buy food. At least for a while.

Barter was what business ran on for centuries. So I don't see why not, I don't like it but I think if the dollar fails you will be reduced to barter for what you need. Then businesses will be reduced to barter to stay in business. I'm hoping that some of the businesses that are taking crypto use that as a monetary standard instead, that would start a whole new economy....
Businesses could begin paying their employees in crypto.

Things have to get bad before things are finally resolved. So what we have to arrange for and prepare for is to be safe when things are bad. God will take care of us, but he expects us not to be stupid to.
We also should be in a position to help others that are in the bind. We can be the backboard that God will use to save people he needs saved. So we're supposed to be that backboard, by using our intelligence, and by preparing for what he said is coming.
So dig in prepare; and be ready to be a blessing to somebody that's in a real bind, when things go south! You might feed angels, unaware....
So will you be ready down there in Texas to cover your part of it? I'll be ready up here.

Seal tobacco pouches and a cigarette making machine you just make them as you need them I've already got that here you should have it there.
And the booze you ought to have probably 20 gallons of it stashed.

Pipe tobacco mainly and yes I have a cigarette making machine. I don't use cigarettes but they'll be good barter material, as far as the alcohol I have cases of different stuff.
My preference is half gallon bottles of grain alcohol that I use for tinctures of herbals so I tried to stock up on those. I'd like to have a dozen or so a half gallons but I haven't made it to that yet.
Stock of the alcohol will come by a little bit at a time. So they don't think I'm a crazy drunk and it doesn't nreak the budget. I don't actually drink it, but I use it for tinctures, and I'll use it for barter. but alcohol doesn't spoil, especially the pure stuff won't spoil. You could store it for 20 years and it'll still be good, so that's a good barter item to stock. So if you get the chance, buy a bottle you like every payday, and just set it back somewhere out the garage or something. So you have it available if you need it.
As far as the cigarette machine you should really have one of those yourself, because people that are addicted will hold the cigarettes in high esteem. Especially if things Fall Apart because they won't be able to get them. So if you can sell them anything that even looks like a cigarettes you get whatever price for what you have tgar you want.
The only thing that I haven't used for barter or setup for barter is ammunition. I just bothers me to arm somebody to steal from me, possibly so... I'll probably not do ammunition for barter unless I know the people.
I also have tobacco seeds for "way down the road" but I don't know if I'll bother with that or not, it's a good herbal so I may.
