The foundation of any organization is its board of directors. These people are the heart and soul of an entity - their passion and commitment leads the way and directs the future. Today, let's meet the Vice President of the FairCosa Foundation, Jackie Warren.
Mission
from historically underprivileged communities
to aid in improving quality of life through
education, training, and community development.
Jackie Warren attended Georgia State University and Kent State University where she studied Nonprofit Certification and received a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration. She worked in health care for over 15 years with Cleveland's University Hospitals and Kaiser Permanente. Jackie has a passion to serve the under-served, whether she is helping displaced and/or incarcerated women, or young adults trying to find adulthood after growing up in deep poverty.
Jackie has always been a philanthropist. As a 6 year old child, she got in trouble for giving away her clothing to neighborhood twins who consistently had on the same clothes for several days. She figured that if she could wear decent clothes every day, then they should be able to do the same. She later realized that their mom was on drugs and their dad had been incarcerated for years. Jackie is selfless and generous to her very core; The FairCosa Foundation is quite fortunate to have her as a leader.
We all deserve a future - help us clear the way.
