We will serve a hot meal to the Homeless in Tulsa this Sunday, wish us luck!

The food for the weekly feedings come from left over food from church. We eat Breakfast and lunch every Saturday at Church. I take what is left to the Denver House Saturday afternoons.

The Monthly feeding provides left overs sometimes, and we feed those leftovers the following Monday; at the Denver House.

oh...now it makes sense. You never said that you have breakfast and lunch every saturday at your church, that's where the left over food comes from. It sounds like all you people do up there is eat.

We spend 6 hours there, so eating is a good idea....

We meet, we eat, LOL!

sir smithlabs! Six hours?? doing what? sitting around talking? that sounds like torture.
I mean I know you have the church service but what about the rest of the time?

Sermons, Bible study, fellowship, classes, nursing home visits, health screenings, Clothing disbursment, and we eat food too, ROFLOL!

ok sir smithlabs that makes sense, well there is plenty of needy people out there so it's a good thing some churches are doing all they can to help.

They do stay busy! But they practice what they preach, LOL! They have been very helpful on supplying food! I appreciate the supply of food they provide. They provide all the plates, bowls, cups, and silver ware. They volunteered to step in and supply us what they could, It has been a BIG help! There is a second church that is wanting to help with food too. We are hoping to begin a second feeding every month, if we can get enough people for a second serving crew, and source the food.

We are getting closer to that. We had a truck load of gallon cans of food donated yesterday, and picked up a load for the freezers too. Progress, so we will see!

I bet the volunteers won't be as hard to get but the big food supplies could be a challenge.

Both are difficult! The food is beginning to come easier, and we had several new people that helped last time, that just showed up.

If GOD wants this to happen, He will provide.
