Introducing Eurno: Unite the Masses, Break the Borders, Change the World

in charity •  7 years ago

You may have noticed that, recently, I have been a bit slack on getting posts up on the Something Decent website but you probably do not know the reason, and it is a good one. As anyone who has read the about section on this website will know, I am very much a non-conformist who wishes to do something which is for the betterment of all life on earth. As insanely crazy as that may sound to some.

Well, over the past half a year, or so, I have been developing a little crypto project of my own (with a close friend of great experience) which will be able to function alongside Something Decent. The project I am referring to is the Eurno organisation - a self funded, directly democratic, organisation, conducting charitable ventures on behalf of its token holding community.

Those of you who follow either mine, or the Something Decent, Twitter accounts will probably have seen something mentioned about the Eurno over the past couple of days as we released the official website and, today, we released the official whitepaper version 1.0 (5 days ahead of schedule I might add). So, today, I am going to officially introduce the Eurno project to the Something Decent community and explain what it is about.

With no further a-due I present to you, the Eurno.

An insight into Eurno

As briefly mentioned above, the Eurno project is a directly democratic one which aims to conduct charitable ventures on behalf of its token holding community, but what does that mean? Basically put, it means that the sole focus of the Eurno project is to help all life on earth, regardless of any variables such as race, nationality, religion, species etc.

Opposed to traditional charities which rely on trust and donations, the Eurno project is a self funded organisation (although donations will be made possible and welcomed in the near future) which will use the Ethereum network to freely distribute 23 million ENO tokens, before moving to its permanent home on the Enumivo blockchain.

By using blockchain technology every action made by the Eurno development team can be publicly verified, as can all use of any funding.

As the Eurno is self funded via the cryptocurrency ventures of both myself and SoSoLean, we are not going to be seeking any funding through a public ICO and, instead, have developed a unique self claim airdrop dApp which is currently undergoing beta testing.

The overall goal of the Eurno project is to release a unique voting dApp, on the Enumivo blockchain, which allows our token holding community to vote on the governance of the project and on the use of the charitable venture fund - an allocation of ENO tokens which will be used for charitable ventures on behalf of the Eurno token holding community.

Where to go for more info

I personally have been developing the Eurno website for some time now and am proud to direct you towards it on the link below. On it you will be able to find all the information you should require about the Eurno project. It includes all the usual links you would expect to find about a crypto project (whitepaper, roadmap, telegram etc) and, if I am tongue-in-cheek honest, I am purposefully guiding you there as the Eurno team wants to show off our project.
