Venison AKA “Deer Meat” WTF! 😅 🦌
I was thinking... too many people are programmed to eat cows, pigs, and chickens. Why not natural grass fed Deer Meat? 🤷🏼♂️
It was mighty tasty in my book, sorry vegans... I like to eat meat at times!
Would you ever try Venison? 💁🏼♂️
I also just found a local Las Vegas joint that offers Ostrich Meat 🐥... I may have to try it next week. Stay Tuned! 😏

Absolutely! Delicious piece of meat when prepared well... glass of a great Cabernet to go with that and you are set for a nice treat. However, it is a game meat so not everyone might be keen on that. How about wild boar? Love that even more:)....

I used to go to college with some guys who's fathers worked for the state of Wisconsin and actually got paid to hunt deer to keep the populations in check. They got to keep a lot of the meat so these guys would often bring back venison jerkey or ground venison and make hamburgers or spaghetti.
It's actually pretty good, lean meat. There sometimes is a bit of gaminess if it's not prepared great but not too bad. I always like trying different meats when I have the chance whether it be elk or buffalo or something like that

Always good to try new things. Jerky is great to try new meats. I had venison, ostrich, and even alligator. All good to me. You mostly taste the flavoring used to cure the meat

I am vegetarian now because the way the food industry "raise/create" animals. I don't know about deer. Poor Bambi lol.
But when I was younger for a couple of years ostrich beef were kind of a thing and it was my favourite meat.

Venison is really good but it is lean. It is much healthier for you than grain fed red meats. I've never tried ostrich but am interested in doing so...do try it and let us know how it is!

Deer meat is good if prepared right. Moose meat is my fave. Don't eat it much now but grew up eating it. My dad was a fan. He had friends that were hunters. Glad you enjoyed it ❤

Deer jerky is yummy too. I’ve had alligator and frog legs and didn’t care for it. We have a burger place here that has exotic meat; you could try lots of different types of beef.

I had deer meat before in Canada since lots of Canadians hunt for deer and one of them was my brother-in-law, so we had some to try.
You really have to prepare it good and I like it since it is all natural and organic.

First time I tried Venison was in a very fancy resturant and had it. I was horrible. A few years ago my brother in law slip in some Venison Saugage at a Holiday diner. It was very tasty, would guess depends how the Venison is made. Had rabbit in a Chinese Resturant and hated it almost spit it out and lost all desire to eat. Have you ever heard of eating Alligator tail ? Someone, I knew swore it was tasty. Here is one place in my area that serves it - https://www.xxroads.com/ the picture on the home page shows it. Looks more like Lobster or fish to me.

I never truly understood the 'distaste' for one meat over another. Meat is meat.
(Venison is pretty good btw!).
Croc, kangeroo are two meats I've tried, to name just a couple (my ozzie travels),
...Pigeon brains and snake in hong kong...you get the idea. I'll try anything once.
(I grew up in meat butchering family, so maybe my sensitivities are altered because of that, I dunno)
