The country's 6 banks have been merged with State Bank of India (SBI). Important information for the customers of those banks. From January 1, the new rules will be applicable for the account holders of State Bank of India (SBI).

From January 1, the old checks of SBI Associate Banks will become invalid. His check book will no longer be of any use. These banks include State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Raipur, State Bank of Travancore, State Bank of Hyderabad and Indian Women Bank, which have merged with SBI. Those who have checkbooks of these banks will have to apply for a new check book within 3 days. Because the old checkbook and IFSC codes of these banks will not be valid since December 31.

You can apply for a new checkbook by visiting SBI's branch, SBI ATM or mobile app. SBI has changed the names, branch codes and IFSc codes of some branches of big cities. Therefore, once you have given the information of IFSC coord, check your bank's IFSC cord once again.
