I've been playing chess all night, and was thinking on the most famous chess game ever played: "The Immortal Game" between Anderssen and Kieseritzky in 1851.
Why is this considered "The Immortal Game"? Because Anderssen captures a total of three pawns, and intentionally sacrifices a bishop, both rooks, and his queen... for the win. It's a stunningly beautiful game.
