Qa3! Strong move, although it did not look like it.

Another quick game on the internet.

So I decided to take a session on lichess and I won this nice little game in a rather interesting manner.

1.Nf3 d6

A04 Zukertort Opening: Pirc Invitation

2.g3 e6

This is a very quiet system black is using here, might not be super strong.

3.d4

More aggressive than my more common Bg2

3...g6 4.Bg2 Bg7 5.O-O Ne7 6.c3 Nd7 7.Nbd2 h6 8.e4 O-O 9.Re1 f5 10.e5

This might be a little to far from white, having to guard with f4 was not to my liking, but it did make the game very interesting.

10...dxe5 11.Nxe5 Nxe5 12.dxe5 Nc6 13.f4 h5

This is a bit weird.

14.Qb3 h4 15.Nf3 hxg3 16.hxg3 Na5 17.Qa4 c6 18.Rd1 Qb6+ 19.Kh2 Kf7 20.Ng5+ Ke7

Black would have a nice threat here, if not for whites powerful attack.

21.Qa3+

It might not look like a killer move, but this is very hard to meet. (Rd4 is a simpler win, Qa3 is good but possibly Rd4 first)

21...c5? 22.Be3 Nc4

Not saving anything, but you can't see everything.

23.Bxc5+ Ke8 24.Qa4+ Qc6 25.Bxc6+

Black resigns. The win would otherwise be the simple 25.-bxc6 26.Qxc6#

1-0

Position after 20.-Ke7.

This seems to be his mistake going after the attack on the h-file so much that he forgot about what I could do in the meantime.
I had some strong play in the meantime that decided the game.
