Chicken Shit Sunday - Musical Shits - "Shitting in the Woods" by Mountain Sprout

So I thought I would do a Musical Edition of Chicken Shit Sunday. One of the things I enjoy is bluegrass music. Not gospel bluegrass, but modern bluegrass. Bands like The Steeldrivers, Honeywagon, Trampled by Turtles. Even bluegrass cover bands like The Pickin' On Series, who covers all kinds of songs and artists with an amazing bluegrass sound. Seriously.

Anyway, one of my favorite modern bluegrass bands is a little-known group from Arkansas called Mountain Sprout. Their songs are fun and a little raunchy, but I can get a little raunchy at times. So can you, apparently. You're reading a blog entry entitled "Chicken Shit Sunday."

Some of my favorite songs by Mountain Sprout include titles like "Screw the Government", "Splittin' Wood", "We Smoke It Here", "Marijuana", and "Are You Drinking With Me, Jesus?" I'm sure you're wondering just how well the actual chickens are doing. They're doing amazingly actually. We are averaging 3 eggs a day now. I think that is great considering it is the middle of winter. It's actually snowing for the first time this winter as I'm writing this! I can't wait to get outside to walk around in it and find some steaming hot shit to share with you!
