The Middle East area recorded a five-percent growth year-on-year in 2017, with 58 million international tourist arrivals. The uptick is believed to be partially driven by a growing number of Chinese travelers whose interest in the region is intensifying as a result of changing tourism tastes, fewer traveling hassles and incentives by governments and industry players.
