Do we buy chlorine futures do we hoard chlorine do we not swim this year? What's the play?

I have been hearing and reading in a couple places now that there is going to be a major chlorine shortage this summer.

We had a major pool boom this spring with everyone at home and getting stimulus checks.

So we had a significant spike in chlorine demand, coupled with a fire at a major chlorine factory that put it offline until next year.

Add those together and we have a major shortage on our hands.

I am thinking of going to the store and buying a couple buckets just to have, but the prices have already started spiking.

A bucket that used to cost me $80 is now already going for $120+.

So, what do you think, is it too late to buy some chlorine or no?
