Would you like a simple and tasty recipe? Today, I propose chocolate and salted butter caramel tarts. They are extremely delicious and the hardest part of this recipe is not to eat everything alone. These tarts will be perfect during the holidays, accompanied by a special Christmas herbal tea.
Ingredients
For about 12 tarts
• 1 short pastry
• 200g dark chocolate with dessert
• 20cl liquid cream
• Creamy Salty Butter Toffee
• Christmas Tea
Recipe
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Cut your dough to the size of your tartlet moulds. Place them in your moulds, cover the dough with parchment paper and add dried beans so that the dough does not swell too much. Put it in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate. In a saucepan, heat the liquid cream over medium heat and add the chocolate pieces. The chocolate will melt little by little; do not hesitate to stir the preparation. Once everything is homogeneous and smooth, leave on low heat.
- Once the dough has been lightly browned, we can take it out of the oven and start filling our tarts.
- Put a teaspoon of salted butter caramel in the bottom of the pies, this caramel is so smooth! You must taste it, it is delicious. Then add the chocolate mixture. For the fun and keep the Christmas spirit I added a bit of grated coconut on top you can also add flakes of hazelnuts, almonds, fruit.
- Place them in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
For a perfect snack or dessert, don't hesitate to accompany these tarts with the very tasty herbal tea. It is composed of cinnamon, lemon balm, orange peel, petals of marigold, pieces of apple. It is really very good, the most of this herbal tea is that it has merits facilitating digestion; we agree that after a festive meal it is ideal, even essential!
