I observed that there are four types of people in the corporate world.
#1 PASSIONATE:
They simply love what they do.
They don’t eagerly wait for Fridays.
They like mentoring juniors and don’t mind sitting extra hours with them.
#2 MATERIALISTIC:
They aim to climb the ladder soon and mint money for early retirement.
They always think about their next switch.
They showcase everything they did; even if a single line comment is added, they claim how significant that comment is and how it adds value to the customers and whatnot.
They never forget keeping their bosses in CC.
#3 BOLD:
They had entirely different expectations before joining the corporate world.
They understand the reality and accept it without complaining.
They quit the so-called corporate life and identify their true passion and follow it happily.
#4 CHOICELESS:
They work for the sake of survival though they don’t like it.
They are not prepared to do anything else and/or they just don’t know what else they can do.
They involve in almost all the office gossips.
From my understanding, 10% represents the passionate, 15% represents the materialistic, 5% represents the bold whereas the majority 70% represents the choiceless category.
