Cholera is an acute diarrhoea disease that can kill if left untreated.
Researchers have estimated that each year there are 1.3million to 4.0million cases of cholera, and 21000 to 143000 deaths worldwide due to cholera most of those infected will have no or mild symptoms, and can successfully be treated with oral rehydration solution(ORS).
Currently, there's cases of cholera outbreak in Northern Nigerian,some parts of katsina state.
The good news : cholera is not only curable, it can be prevented by you and me
Cholera is a waterborne disease, hence the use of clean water, proper hand washing and proper sanitation might be all you need to keep cholera away.
As common as those👆,you can save the lives of many today.
