Jesus Christ is the messiah: Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world. John 6:14

The Gospel of John tells us how Jesus Christ, after crossing the Sea of Galilee, multiplied the loaves and fish to feed the crowd that followed him. This fact of merciful Jesus making this sign is a foretaste of the Kingdom of God, the dominion or empire of the divine perfections, like a great banquet, the Kingdom of God is life, love (Agape), happiness, piety, and joy.
In addition, Jesus, with the multiplication of the loaves, appears to us as that spiritual food, that bread of life, which grants us the gift of eternal life (contemplative activity), that life that once obtained cannot be lost: "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me never be thirsty" John 6:35.
And with this miraculous fact, many people began to wonder who Jesus really was, because many prophecies anticipated the arrival of a great leader for the nation of Israel. Many thought that Jesus was the fulfillment of an important prophecy: "I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents" Malachi 4:5-6.
That is why the Gospel of John tells us what happened after the miracle performed by Our Lord Jesus:
"After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say, ´Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.´ Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself" John 6:14-15.
It is important to note that the introduction of Jesus as the messiah and savior of humanity, in the Gospel of John is made in a disguised way, and it is suggested when Jesus presents himself as the "son of man", and the seven affirmations of the "I am." Jesus Christ is the embodiment or personification of the divine perfections.
