It's okay to be broke because the average millionaire has experienced being broke (not poor) 2.3 times. This means that if you have ever been broke, you are well on your way to becoming a millionaire 😁

Sometimes you cannot help but be broke. Broke is a temporary situation; poor is a state of mind. If you are broke, I can help you. If you are poor, I cannot help you. Poor people like to be victims. They have to break through the poverty mentality to a prosperity mentality.

The only difference between a man/woman with money and a man/woman who does not have money is that the one who does not have money came to an obstacle and said, "It's too hard, I can't do this."

The one who has money came to the same obstacle and said, "I'm going over, under, around, I'm going to go through this obstacle. "

Have you ever wondered why people make extra money then end up being broke? People who win lottery end up being broke within two years, even if they won millions. Why is this true? Because, if you do not grow to the levels of your money, it will shrink to the levels of your character.

Many people liken your financial blueprint to a thermostat. If it is set subconsciously for example at $40,000 a year and you make $100,000 you will sabotage yourself to go back down to $40,000. This is why you need to reprogram your thought process concerning money and abundance.

I often explain, although the love of money is the root of all evil, the lack of money is the manifestation of evil. The man who tries to steal your car or break into your home is not the one with money, but rather the one who lacks no money.

I am telling you that some people in life are hurting and have real needs. It is one thing for someone to come to you with a need and you respond, "I feel sorry for you." May be you even pray for them, but you are powerless to do anything to physically help them and make a significant difference.

I have asked people this question. If you have financial need and you come to me and want me to pray for you about a certain bill, I can pray with you, and then we can stop there. On the other hand, would you prefer I pray with you and then give you some help with your bill?

Now, obviously you and I cannot help everyone because sometimes help can hurt people. Help hurts people if they become dependent on the help, or if it hinders from learning the needed lessons of life.

Actually, I tell people money is not everything, but it is kind of like oxygen. You feel like you would die without it. Money cannot buy happiness, but it is a good down payment! It gives you options that you would not have otherwise.

I personally do not need money, but every time I go to the Gas Station, guess what they want? Every time I go to the grocery store, they will not let me have groceries unless I give them money. Many things I have to do cannot be done without money. I often say, "I don't need money. The Power holding and water board needs money. The Land lord needs money. I do not need it. But, since I'm the person in charge, I have it to take care of the needs."

Eccl. 7:12 says, "Money is a defense."

We equally need to learn to protect ourselves financially and do not depend on others to bail us our. Realistically, there are only two people who care about your bills; you and the person you owe! (Smile)

I have a serious problem with people who want just enough money for them to get by. How selfish is that? You should have enough to help yourself and others. Solomon said, "Money answereth all things," Eccl. 10:12.

If you have taken a vow of poverty, I respect your oath; I just want to free those who mistakenly thought they were included in your vow.

Poverty mentality people say, "Well, you can't have your cake and eat it too. " I tell people, "If I can't eat the cake, I don't want it." I want my cake, so I can eat it and then have ice cream, take vitamins and exercise. The choice is not either/or, but rather both/and (bad grammar, but a great message). We ought to have an abundance mentality instead of a poverty mentality. When you experience your financial breakthrough, you will never be the same again! These scriptures can help.

Job 36:11, "If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures."

Psalms 1:3, "And whatever he doeth prosperity. "

Psalms 112:3, "Wealth and riches shall begin his house."

Psalm 115:14,15, "The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children, for ur are blessed if the Lord."

Proverb 8:21, "That I may cause this that live me to inherit substance, and I will fill their treasures"

Proverbs 10:4, "He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand, but the hand if the diligent make the rich. "

Proverbs 10:22, "The blessings of the Lord, it makes rich and He added in sorrow with it. "

Proverb 15:6, "In the house of the righteous is much treasure."

Isaiah 45:3, "And I will give thee the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places."

Roman 8:32, "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"
