Mother Teresa (a catholic nun) devoted her entire life serving and saving the poor.
Before her death in 1997 her 'missionaries of Charity' has gone global, with branches in Asia, Africa and America.
About 147 foundation did mother Teresa founded, but what was her early child life?
Mother's Wikipedia note that, she grew up with a single parent after the death of her dad.
As a child, she usually see's her mum giving food to neighbors and relatives.
At some point she asked her mum who the people was!
Her mums reply was,
"They are our brothers and sisters who live as our neighbors."
Mother Teresa's mother also admonished,
"Never eat a mouth full of meal without sharing it with others"
So mother grew up with the habit of living for people.
Little wonder she actualized in full her dreams.
A quick glance at our current world exposes a sad picture that demands our attention.
For example;
We preserve nature, but we kill babies.
We build solid houses, but cannot construct lasting homes.
We live longer, but enjoy life less fully.
We write more books, but fail in our moral character's.
We motivate people, but fail with our moral values.
We conquer spaces, but cannot conquer our habits.
We protect the details in our phones, but fail to protect the babies in our womb
We want to go to the moon, yet we wonder far from staying in our homes.
We can treat women nicely because they're our parents, sisters, child, but treat them bad because they're our house help.
We build orphanage, but yet molest and kick our neighbors children.
We want to be useful in the society, yet we use people and dump them.
We want to be general overseer's, but fail to oversee a great future for our children.
We want the world to trust us with their votes, but we allow nepotism and tribalism rule over us.
We want to own company's and industries, but we fail to acknowledge the one who owns our lives..
We want to be great, but fail in doing things that can make one great.
We want to be leaders, but we refuse to be readers.
We want to rule the world, yet we cannot rule our urge for sex.
We want to be trusted, yet we tell lies a lot.
What Paradox?
Whatever you want to be in future must begin now.
There's no where you can get to the future without passing through today. So my dear friend, step up.
