HOW DO WE WALK THE LINE OF GRACE–REMEMBER, FAITH WORKS BY LOVE? Gal. 5:4-6 "Christ is become of no effect to you, whoever of you are justified by the law; you are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love."
I have discovered there's two sides of the same coin, so what is the best way to navigate between the finished work of the cross/true grace/empowerment of the Holy Spirit and our partnership/effort/work/surrender/internal and external fruit that bears witness to the authenticity of repentance and conversion? Jn. 3:10 "Produce fruit worthy of repentance."
As my mentor has taught me, there's a ditch on both sides, stay in the middle of the tension. 😀 Bottom line, there's so many "church-goers" abusing each other, violating love, and trampling under foot the blood of Jesus but think its fine because of misinterpreting the grace of God as being a license to sin/abuse rather than empowerment to live Christ.
I'm beginning to believe we need to reevaluate what gospel is being preached... if it's not producing transformed people looking like Christ and living love by faith, then what's the conclusion of the matter?
Anyways, going after authenticity starts with you and me, fully in the Light, bearing our hearts in honesty, and passionately pursuing deeper relationship with the Lover of our souls–Yahshua. TIME TO BE REAL.
