For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Romans 8:29-30
Even before the foundation of the world, God foreknew some people and predestined that such should be glorified. This decision had nothing to do with whether the people deserved the glory or not; it was just God's will that brought Him pleasure( Ephesians 1:4-5). An example is Jacob; even before he was born, God chose him over Esau and named his own nation after him even though he was a crook, a cheat and a liar ( Romans 9:10-13). People like Moses, Rahab , Paul together with all the elect in the Bible share a similar story.
This also, is the story of every single believer: by divine protocol, God according to the pleasure of His will, chose us to express His glory through us irrespective of what anyone (including the devil) thinks, says or does. We will have a glorious end simply because God decided it to be so.
LIFE APPLICATION
It doesn't matter what you hear, see or feel now; your end shall be glorious because God determined it to be so and His counsel always stands.
PRAYER
Thank you Father for predestining me for glory.
