Verse of the day 24

in christian-trail •  7 years ago  (edited)

On February 12, 1809, Abraham Lincoln was born in a one-room cabin in Kentucky. His family was penniless, and he was mostly self-educated. However, he grew up to be a model of courage, resolve, and conscientiousness. Lincoln devoted his presidency to fighting the single greatest bulwark standing in opposition to the American ideal of inalienable rights for all. Lincoln was a man of calm but unmovable resolve. “Be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm,” he would say. Although his struggle demanded thousands of lives, including his own, he confidently insisted on what he knew to be right, and defended the voices of millions of the silenced, oppressed, and marginalized.

Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Thanks for this. Daily verses are important for our walk with Jesus.
