Greetings fellow Steemians.

Will you join us in prayer?

"Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved."

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today and we thank You for this new days to serve You. Father, Your word tells us to seek Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, and not to seek the things of this world. For You know that we have needs. Let our faith and trust be in You so that we are not consumed by our own worries. Father thank You for the promises that You have given to all who seek You. Lord, help us to live acceptably in Your sight, to walk uprightly and speak Your truth. Purify our hearts, so that the things that come out of our mouths are good and right.

Father, please bless each person praying with us today. Bless everything they put their hands to. Lead each of us in all that we do and say according to Your will for Your glory. Help us to keep our minds stayed on You in every moment.

Lord, we pray for the people of Rockport Texas, we pray for the families who lost loved ones. Lord, please comfort them. Let Your light shine through this difficult time for the people of that city.

We also pray for all who are reading this who are going through difficult times, that You, Lord, will shine Your light and help them in their struggles. Father, ease pain and suffering for those who are dealing with these things. Let Your goodness shine into their lives and into whatever situation each one might be dealing with, for Your glory. Father God, let each one know that with You there is help, with You there is comfort, and with You there is healing and restoration.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We glorify Your Holy Name.
