God is Good, God is sovereign and works all things for good and glory (Romans 8:28). Joy, love and peace are His work and He is renewing and restoring all things.
My Faith:
I believe these things and it brings me great peace when times are tough, when my daughter seizes beyond my control, when injustice and suffering saturate the news cycle, when I see the destitute sleeping in the winter snow covered streets.
Our world is a dark place but it will not always be so. God is working and he will return, make all things new and wipe away every tear.
A New Heaven and a New Earth
21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! My Prayer for the Non-Believer:
If you don't believe in Jesus, I hope this post and this song can bring you some joy today. My belief does not require that you agree but my heart longs for you to know the joy He offers, not for my betterment, but for your own.
May you be blessed today, may you have safety, peace and joy but beyond all these things may the Lord of Light, Love and Peace speak to you today. That you might hear His word and see his works in the world today, and be moved by that call to walk into relationship with the living Word of God, Jesus Christ.
