The Message of Jesus

I hear what people say but I listen to what they do. Jesus’ words matter but His life matters even more. Many people will point to something Jesus said and argue that it's His primary message. I look at Him hanging on a cross and walking out of a tomb and I don't have to argue about His message; I just point.

The message of Jesus is a crucified Savior who rises from the dead. It's not a series of philosophical precepts. It's not more rules. “Cursed is a man who dies on a tree”. God became cursed for us. Quite the sacrifice.

Good news is that the grave could not keep Him down. Three days later He got up and went for a stroll. If He can raise Himself up from the dead He can do it for you too.

The cross and the empty tomb speak for themselves. Let's not add too many words into the mix.
