A building is a structure with a roof and a wall that is intended to stay in one place and not to be moved or taken down again. Building is used for office, store, and as church, a dwelling place of God. To have a good building, the first thing is to have a good plan.
Pattern is a precise plan for construction. It is a guide or model for making something, the way in which something happens or develops.
The Lord, God of heaven and, the owner, foundation, architect and builder of His Church has a standard and pattern by which He wants to be worshipped and served. He has a standard expected of His church and the members. Romans 12:1. He is not just concerned about what we do for Him; He is particular about how we do it. His principles do not change. He can not be cajoled or deceived. He is concerned about details.
Your person as a believer is more important to God than any other thing. If your person is wrong, your services, sacrifices and any other work done for God will be rejected. Gen 4:3-4.
The measurement of God is done to the heart of man by which He discerns the type of heart with which one worship. 1Samuel 16:7.
Our relationship to God can never be separated from our obedience to His laws and commandments as this is the yardstick to determine our truthfulness to Him.
The Church where we worship is not our property or estate but we are workers therein. It is a property that belongs to Jesus. 1 Corinthians 3:5-7,Matthew 16:13-17.
The Church has been built already but everyone should mind what and how he builds on it. It is possible to loose sight of the pattern and begin to build according to our notions and that too will not be acceptable to God.
Note that God has pattern for service, worship, relationship with Him, let us follow His pattern.
I totally agree with you servant of God. There are various standards set out by men these last days. Men pursue gifts and negleting the giver. Some took over the heritage of the Lord. Crowd is rather followed instead of the LEADER. Have mercy Lord.
