Ecclesiastes 7:5 (KJV)
It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
The heavenly wisdom in the Ecclesiastes is such that it is almost irreconcilable in the hearts of men.
Chapter seven. Boldly claims:
The day of death is better than the day of birth
Sorrow is better than laughter
The house of mourning is better than the house of feasting
And then this, there is a song of fools.
The Word of God tells us that such songs exist and that it is not good to hear them.
Regardless how much we might relate
Regardless how soothing they might seem
Regardless how they might make our heart merry
Regardless how entertaining they may be
They are the songs of fools and it is not good the listen to them.
