The Day after Good Friday was certainly a dark one. In the Bible, we realize that every one of the disciples were overwhelmed with grief and despair over the death of Jesus.
One by one, they dispersed and went into hiding. Even the closest ones to Jesus like Peter had denied Him, as He predicted.
Hope was lost and Darkness swept across the city as the self-professed Messiah and Saviour of the World was gone.
Even the words of Jesus could not have prepared them for such a day like the day before. In John 12:35, Jesus foretold them...
“You are going to have the Light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the Light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.
Have you walked through the Dark Days of your life? I'm sure all of us would have our own share of that...
What was your response to those Dark moments?
Were you almost at the point of calling it quits?
Whatever the days of Darkness that you may have gone through, I believe they were necessary. Perhaps not the best time to REJOICE about anything, but a time of our life that we may need to reflect, rediscover, reconnect and recalibrate.
It is through these days that our Core Purpose becomes the source that will Spark a Potential light.
Whatever it is, your journey has not finished... your story has just begun. Catch you tomorrow.
Blessings & Shalom.
