I completely agreed with this. Unfortunately, it seems that there are more and more people serving man rather than God nowadays. Which I find concerning.

Yes, we live in a culture of the Self. Me- Me-Me. It's difficult to hear the call of God when we are so focused, obsessed even, with the Material life.

Yes, exactly as you say. We have become so obssesed with material things that God had becomes secondary in our life. This is wrong. God should always be first in our life.
