Today we are going to look at the message of the pearl. This is a further explanation of the beautiful message of the kingdom.
“God’s kingdom is like a treasure hidden in a field for years and then accidentally found by a trespasser. The finder is ecstatic—what a find!—and proceeds to sell everything he owns to raise money and buy that field. “Or, God’s kingdom is like a jewel merchant on the hunt for excellent pearls. Finding one that is flawless, he immediately sells everything and buys it.

Here is a man who is dissatisfied. It's one of the beautiful qualities of a Christian. He must never be satisfied with his spiritual achievements. You must always seek an even more intimate relationship with the Lord.
The discontented man is looking for a beautiful pearl. He is actually a wholesaler, the Greek is emporos. He is not a poor man at all. His specialty is pearls. He buys them and then he sells them again.
Difference between merchant and farmer
The man who plowed the land was not looking for a hidden treasure. He was doing his job thoroughly and accidentally came to the hidden treasure.
There are people who faithfully seek Scripture and then unexpectedly come to the great discovery of Jesus.
This is what happened to some of us. As we studied the Bible, we suddenly discovered the great discovery that we discovered Jesus.
The wholesaler who deals in pearls was searching. There was dissatisfaction in his life. He wanted something better and he kept looking for it.
So there are many people who are searching. They are not satisfied with the knowledge they have regarding the Bible. They are not satisfied with the kind of life they lead, they are looking for something better.
There are many such people. This parable tells us that this looking class will not be disappointed.
THE PEARL
Why would you say, did Jesus use a pearl in this parable?
To better understand the parable, I just want to explain how a pearl is formed
A pearl is a beautiful, chalky petrifaction perlemoen that is formed inside the oyster's guilt. When a sand grains come between the shell and the soft meat of the oyster, it causes pain and irritation.
The pearl oyster finds it impossible to eject this intruder and then start painting the sand grains with a perlemoenous secretion.
Layer for layer spread the oyster this perlemoen dust over the sand granule.
lesson
What a beautiful lesson. The oyster changes the thing that sprains its life in a beautiful precious stone.
Let us also cover the unpleasantness of life with a beautiful attitude of abalone.
One finds pearls in rose color, cream colors, white, green and light presses.
The world's most beautiful rose and cream pearls come from the Persian Gulf and are known as Pinctada vulgaris.
The difference between the pearl and another precious stone lies in this: the pearl is born of pain; he is the product of a living organism; and in order to get the pearl in hand, the oyster must give life.
The oyster dies and the pearl continues.
JESUS DE PEAREL
It causes pain to obey.
It is the pain of obedience that makes us beautiful like pearls. Because Jesus was obeyed in every respect, He had to endure pain, but it was this pain that made him so beautiful. Before Jesus could give the pearl of His perfect life, He had to die The moment he dies on the cross and says it is finished, He perfected the pearl of His perfect character and offered to all those who searched for it.
When the wholesaler saw this pearl, he had the desire to possess it. Unfortunately, as a result of the fall, man has developed a tendency to want to own the wrong things. But the desire to possess something, to make something your own, especially the beautiful things of life.
Jesus the pearl
It causes pain to obey.
While he lived on earth, anticipating death, Jesus cried out in pain and wept in sorrow as he offered up priestly prayers to God. Because he honored God, God answered him. Though he was God’s Son, he learned trusting-obedience by what he suffered, just as we do. Then, having arrived at the full stature of his maturity and having been announced by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who believingly obey him.

I still remember my first car it was nice to drive around with my dad's car, but what a great feeling when I bought my first car.
The very precious pearl that this man sought is none other than Jesus. The word for precious is polutimos, and that means that nothing else is so expensive.
How precious is Jesus
Colossians 2: 9 "In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2: 3 "In Christ all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden".
The life of Jesus is like a clean white pearl without defect or stain. And just like a pearl reflects the beautiful colors of the rainbow, just as the life of Jesus reflects all the colors of the Father's beauty and perfection.
Jesus's desire is that we must own him.
To possess Jesus means to be credited with His full righteousness, His perfect holiness, and His eternal wisdom. To own Him means to possess everything.
He becomes mine when I surrender to Him spiritually, soul and body.
Man does not only have a need to own anything, you also want to own. Every person wants to know that he is owned by his country, culture and its people. You want to identify with something.
Because man is a creature, he would like to know that he is owned and appreciated by someone larger than himself. You want to enjoy the possessions of someone else.
In this parable there is a secondary application. We are that pearl. The parable tells us that we want to be owned by someone. He who wants to own me is Jesus.
In Isaiah 43: 4 we read the words, "precious, high honor" Nothing is for heaven of greater value than me and you. The Father also seeks pearls and He sees in you and me a precious pearl. And when he looks at man, he sees a valuable potential in us. He sees that man can keep a sweet fellowship with Him.
And what did Jesus pay? What did he pay to buy us?
Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God. It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in. He paid with Christ’s sacred blood, you know. He died like an unblemished, sacrificial lamb. And this was no afterthought. Even though it has only lately—at the end of the ages—become public knowledge, God always knew he was going to do this for you. It’s because of this sacrificed Messiah, whom God then raised from the dead and glorified, that you trust God, that you know you have a future in God.
