(PSALM 100)
1. BE JOYFUL: "Shout joyfully to the Lord..." these words refers to the spontaneous shout of victory that greeted a king returning from battle. If God has worked a victory in your life, whoop it up! If He has answered your prayer, shout for Joy
2. BE A SERVANT: The word "serve" is used to denote both an overall way of life, the broader way of life. Render honor to God.
3. BE SUBMISSIVE: "Know that the Lord Himself is God..."this verse shows three roles of God. First, God is LORD. Second, God is Creator, and last God is Shepherd.
4. BE THANKFUL: You cant give thanks unless you are thankful. Thanksgiving is what flows out of a thankful heart. There are three reasons to be grateful: The Lord is good, the Lord's mercy is everlasting, ant the Lord's truth endures forever.
A life without God can produce bitterness, loneliness, and hopelessness in old age. But a life centered around God is fulfilling and can be richer. Focus on eternal values rather than passing pleasure. Make your strength available to God. Don't waste it on evil or meaningless activities that becomes bad habits and make you callous. Seek God now.
We who belong to God should be people of joy, submission, and praise.
