St. Philaretos (Greek), or St. Philaret (English/Russian) the Almsgiver lived during the 8th century. His life is an example, an icon, for those who are christian entrepreneurs or business owners. Actually, his life is an inspiration for all. He was a light and a man of God who gave, rather than concerned himself with receiving. Being merciful and giving to all in need.
