Okay, so hi! This will only be my second story on here, and it's absolutely not the kind of thing I thought I would be sharing, BUT; I have to.
I came over this really easy, old recipe for caramels, and since it's almost Christmas I had to make them! So delicious.
So what I did, I took sugar, cream, syrup, vanilla sugar and margarine, mixed it all together in a pot and boiled it until it got thick. Continuously stirring the pot.
My arm almost cramped up after stirring this for about 30 minutes, and of course i chose a maybe little less traditional way to serve the caramel (than pouring it all out flat and wait for it to stiffen until you cut it into pieces). It all got really messy, caramel everywhere, burned my hands with it, clean up was a thrill.
Eventually, it looked like this
Of course they were all supposed to look like cute little hearts, but trust me; not as easy as it might seem.
I would recommend caramels to EVERYONE! Especially now at this time at year, but be prepared for a lot of stickiness.
Thank you for reading,
LOVE LUNA
