So true. I love to live by the minimalist theory and don't believe in the accumulation of pointless things that bring more chaos to my home and my mind. I like to live simply and have reduced my consumerism but its so hard to get the extended family to become mindful of the way we choose to live. Me and my kids picked pinecones, sticks and made bird feeders to give family members. Whether or not they were disappointed, I do not much care. The spirit of love is more about togetherness and less about belongings and selfishness. Merry Christmas!
