If you're ever the victim of a fire or flood the damage can be devastating.
Question. I have irreplaceable photos and documents that are soaking wet. What can I do?
Answer. Take the wet items and put them into a freezer. They can be frozen for the next 100 years and will not be lost forever.
As you are able, take them out one at a time in order to dry them.
When drying them, don't aim air flow directly towards them because you will cause the ink to run, but rather draw the moisture out of them by pinning them down on a flat surface and stationing a fan above, upside down to slowly draw the moisture out of them. Preferably on a low setting.
It will take a little time but if they can't be replaced...what's a little time?
