In this church at the time before arriving at the shipwreck, the Cura Jose María Morelos y Pavón gave mass, who at the time was a surprise to everyone at that time as commander of the independence army in the year 1813.
This church was built before the 1800s, it was flooded due to the construction of the Infiernillo dam, during the government of Mr. Lázaro Cárdenas, leaving it all under water, this sunken church is located in Churumuco, Michoacán.
