OldBoy - CinemaBun Film Suggestion

NIce one!

I only saw the original once around the time it came out, so I don't remember scene by scene.

In a way, that's good, since I saw this movie mainly has its own thing. (Like it should)

When I heard about this, I was very skeptical... "Another American mediocre remake of a terrific film"... that was my posture. Then I saw Spike Lee was directing it...

Well, I'm a huge fan of his and there have been some incredible American remakes.

So I saw it... and I really liked it. It is its own movie and it's a great one. It stays true to the source material (apparently it's a Japanese comic book)

Great story, super interesting and intriguing. Masterfully executed, tremendous performances and cool photography.

I'm a huge Spike fan and this movie has it's place in his filmography.

The Blue Ray extras are quite disappointing...

As always, thank you for reading.

Sounds very interesting. Well recommended by critics, too. I'll add it to my watch list.

It is cool! Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for the comment.
