While the first 2 movies of the series had some interest to them, the 3rd one was too unrealistic and over-the-top to be interesting (for me). So I didn't have much expectations for John Wick Chapter 4. Unless you shut your brain off, it's a very, very long nearly 3h of cinematography.

Having survived (of course) his shooting and "nasty" fall at the end of the 3rd movie. John Wick is back in action. He wants, once and for all, to be freed from The Table, which no one can do... unless they get sponsored (which he's able to find) by a recognized crime syndicate to challenge to a duel.

As said in the intro, you can only enjoy this... thing if you shut off your brain entirely. Otherwise, all those falls (especially down the stairs leading to Sacré-Coeur), all those car crashes and hitting people, all those bulletproof coats will have you roll your eyes in disbelief.

Also, who in HELL can a blind man be an assassin? At the very beginning, there is a "understandable" way he does it by putting move detection devices that ring. But doing the final duel?

Finally, why do most people speaking a language other than English actually speak it, but the Marquis the Granmont barely does? Must be because he's not French (it's a Skarsgard)

In short, unless you want to completely waste nearly 3 hours of your life, skip this movie. There's barely anything redeeming about it. Even the acting, with its bland dialogue and fake sarcasm, will bore you.

Final rating: 2/5
