Cinemagraphs or plotagraphs are really cool video or animated gif made using a static photos.
I'm good a photoshop and final cut pro, but tried doing these kind of moving photos from a photo or a video, it's not so easy!
The best and easier result I got is using the iPhone app Plotagraphs or Plotaverse. They charge you for premium service, but the free version works too.
All photos shot by me using a Canon 7D and 300mm 2.8 lens. Let me know if you have any question.
